A few things you may want to know.

Clear answers before you start your trial.

Which areas does it cover?

The Perth metropolitan area. You pick the suburbs you want to hear about and you get incidents inside them, or within 5 km. Anything else stays quiet. If you leave your coverage areas empty you get every Perth metro alert instead.

Do I have to keep the app open?

No. Once alerts are switched on they arrive as ordinary phone notifications whether the app is open, in the background, or closed.

Does it work on an iPhone?

Yes, with one extra step. iPhone only delivers alerts to apps on the Home Screen, so you add Accident Sniffer from Safari using Share, then Add to Home Screen, open it from the new icon and turn alerts on. The app walks you through it when you sign up.

Where do the incidents come from?

Live reports from people driving the roads, matched against your coverage areas. Each alert shows how many drivers have confirmed the incident, so you can judge it yourself before you commit a truck.

What happens when the 14 days are up?

Your access pauses automatically. No payment method is required for the trial and there is no automatic charge. If you choose to keep Accident Sniffer, upgrade in the app for A$29 a month including GST.

How do I cancel?

Wherever you subscribed, because the store handles the billing. On iPhone or iPad that is Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the Manage subscription button in the app; on Android it is Google Play → Payments and subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
